Yep thats right! RICHGIRL member Brave stopped by our message boards RICHGIRLWAY.NET and posted a brand new blog updating us on everything that she has been up to - since the I Am…Tour. Here’s what she had to say:

Whats up family!!! Now that the tour has ended and this is our 1st day off- I just want to give you a huge HUG and KISS through the screen and say HELLO!!! I know due to scheduling and lack of time I wasn’t able to check in- but I promise i do have some good stuff, pictures and footage I’m gonna send your way now that I have the next 3 days to breath. (I just have to go through it all- so bear wth me.) The tour was AMAZING and has opened up some INCREDIBLE doors. Richgirl has some great sponsors on the table who are ready to become a force behind us- and its the greatest feeling to know that they BELIEVE!!! just to drop a hint- you’ll be able to be alot closer to RG when its time to go to sleep, well- atleast our richGIRLS will…hummmmm?? lol… I’ll fill you in as sooon as i can! Also- I did do ALOT of writing on the road and came up with some new peices so I’ll be posting some of those as well

RICHGIRL performed at the 2009 WNBA All-Star Game today and they showed up looking drop dead gorgeous as always! I have added 3 photos from the performance to the gallery - keep checking back later for the video!

RICHGIRL appeared at Room 960 in Hartford, Conneticut where they hung out for a while and partied it up. They looked absolutely incredible and here’s a 45 second clip from their appearances. Thanks Dante’!

The Nate Adamz Dance Class did some amazing choreography to RICHGIRL’s song “Pimp Cup” and they posted it to their youtube channel. I think this is really great - they did a great job! Thanks to Dante for posting this!

RichGIRL will be performing on the halftime show at this years WNBA All-Star Game on July 25th. The show will be broadcast live from the Mohegan Sun Arena this saturday at 3:30pm on ABC. We will have the video download available right after the performance. Don’t forget to tune in and support our girls!

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (July 21, 2009) - JIVE Records’ Richgirl, a talented all-female R&B group currently touring with Beyonce, will provide the halftime entertainment for a sellout crowd during the 2009 WNBA All-Star Game at Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday.

Consisting of Audra, Brave, Lyndriette and Seven, Richgirl is currently working on a self-titled debut album. The group, which is opening for Beyonce on Thursday night at Mohegan Sun, will play two songs during halftime.

RichGIRL performed at a showcase for 107.5 WGCI FM in Chicago, Illinois where they put on a great show! The girls performed 24, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, He Ain’t Wit Me Now (Tho) and they did an incredible job with all performances - the audience really loved them as well.
The ladies were also interviewed after the showcase where they were asked about their views on Chris Brown and of course the Smile & Wave single as well as speaking on a single that they really hope makes the album called ‘Millionaire’ which was produced by Rich Harrison.

RichGIRL will be performing at this years Summerfest 2009 Splash which is a summer concert sponsored & planned by Power98FM (good friends of RichGIRL).
The show will also feature performances by Trey Songz, Twista, Pleasure P, Mishon, GS Boyz, Lil Ru & Yo Gotti and it all goes down on Saturday, August 1st in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Bojangles Coliseum. Hopefully i’ll be able to attend the show!

One group of fans is opening the show. If you haven’t heard of the all-female R&B group Richgirl — comprised of Brave, Lyndriette, Seven and Audra — you probably will soon. Richgirl’s single “He Ain’t Wit Me Now” is a lush, danceable ditty that easily could become a club favorite before summer is out.

Audra calls touring with Beyoncé amazing. “She is really sweet. She just opened her arms to us and it has been unbelievable.” Richgirl is the brainchild of super producer Rich Harrison, who is known for hits such as Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love” and Destiny’s Child’s “Soldier.” So it’s no wonder that Richgirl may remind some of Destiny’s Child.

“We are humbled by such comparisons,” Audra says. “They paved the way for us, and we expect the comparisons because we took bits and pieces from Destiny’s Child and other performers like Jodeci, Dru Hill and En Vogue.”

The group even tips its hat to British female super-group the Spice Girls because each member was an individual and had her own thing. Like the Spice Girls, each Richgirl member has a chance to shine, says Audra. All the ladies get a chance at the microphone, which, she says, will set them apart from other acts.

“I think a lot of music these days, not that there’s something wrong with it, but there is not a lot of singing going on,” Audra says. “Just a lot of technology and we want to really bring singing back.”

The group’s core sound is R&B, but Audra says they enjoy the freedom of including pop, rock and alternative elements to their sound.

Chris Brown has teamed up with new girl group RichGirl, and their collaborative song has just made its way out. Titled “Smile & Wave”, the never-heard-before track reportedly will be included in RichGirl’s upcoming debut album “RichGirl”.

As for RichGirl, the girl group managed by Chris’ manager Tina Davis are prepping for their eponymous effort. Commenting on what kind of songs they are crafting for the new album, one of the band’s personnel Brave recently said, “Our sound is very honest. Each song tells a specific story.” Another member Audra then added, “One thing that we want to do is bring the singing back to the songs. That’s something that’s lacking right now.”
